Happy 2023 to All!!

As many octogenarians, we watched the ball drop around the east country at 11 pm CDT and retired before midnight. Having been disappointed that our local Fox did not carry the 49ers game, the day ended well as they won! And I was able to watch a picture from Bob's TV on Zoom so it could have been much worse if Bob didn't live in San Francisco. We enjoyed watching the game together.

Ken digs in to supper with beer bread made from mix the girls gave us. Served with ham salad and gouda cheese.

Rita's 2022 Covered Bridge Days Dinner

Cousin Rita feeds family, friends and relatives on
Covered Bridges Day in Winterset. She could feed an army and her food is delicious, as usual over the years.

Squirrels try daily but eventually go to their own feeder.

But what will happen to my favorite little guy when he wakes up from his winter nap!
